Author Guidelines

Editorial Board accepts original, previously unpublished scientific articles on the research results.

The Journal accepts for publishing articles in Ukrainian and English.

Publication of materials is free of charge.

The article is accepted for consideration and transmitted to the internal review only if there is a complete package of documents:

  • Translation of the article in English - officially certified (signature, stamp). Articles submitted in English by non-English authors (in translation) must be certified as to the correctness of translation into the translation agency or at the department of foreign languages or in the department of international relations of the educational institution. An extended abstract in English must also be certified by a seal of the translation agency or approved by the signature of the head of the department of foreign languages or in the department of international relations.
  • Information on (co-) authors - (last name, first name and patronymic, academic degree, academic rank, position, organization, ОRCID ID, full postal address, telephone number, electronic address).
  • Review (recommendation for publication) - by signatures of the profile (on the subject of the article) of a doctor or a candidate of sciences, certified in the established order.
  • Recommendation for publication this material (excerpt from the minutes of the meeting: the chair of the educational institution (academic council, scientific and methodological council of the institution) or the scientific and technical council of the organization, institution at the place of work (study).
  • License agreement in printed form (signed by all authors).

REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLICATIONS

Articles are submitted electronically as a Microsoft Word 97-2003 file in the * .doc format.

The volume of the article – 10-30 pages.

Page options: page size 17х26 сm; margins 2,0 cm from all sides; font Times New Roman; basic text 11 pt, title 12 pt, abstract and references 10 pt; single line spacing; a paragraph indentation – 0,5 cm.

Tables should be executed in the editors of Excel or Word without flood. Each table should be printed with the appropriate heading and numbering after the first reference to it. The width of the tables should not exceed 13,5 cm. All tables should be arranged vertically!

Formulas must be executed in the editor of Formulas MathType. Each formula is typed as one object (full-size 11 pt). The formulas must be numbered with the alignment of the numbering at the right edge.

Illustrations are executed in Word, must be grouped and represent one graphic object. Dashed graphic objects, charts, and charts are executed in the format * .wmf or * .tiff. The illustration is included in the text of the article after the first reference to it (without OLE communication, each illustration is one object). Each illustration must be printed with the appropriate inscription and numbering. The width of any illustration should not exceed 13,5 cm.

As an example of drawing tables and figures, you can use articles published in the last issue of the journal.

Mandatory article elements:

  • UDC code;
  • the title of the article is presented in two languages (Ukrainian, English);
  • information on (co-) authors - last name, first name and patronymic, academic degree, academic rank, position, organization, full postal address, telephone number, electronic address, unique number ОRCID of each author (you have the opportunity to register ORCID by link); information provided in two languages;
  • abstract. The abstract should be at least 1800 characters long.

The text of the abstract should be informative (to represent the main content of articles and studies and should not contain common words), original (not to be а copy of the Ukrainian-language summary), structured, compact, free from secondary information, written in high-quality Ukrainian and English languages keeping the scientific style. The abstract should be understandable without reading the paper.

  • keywords in two languages (4-6 items).

Structure of the main text of the article:

  1. INTRODUCTION:
    • statement of the problem;
    • analysis of recent researches and publications;
    • the purpose of the article.
  2. THE THEORETICAL BACKGROUNDS.
  3. METHODS.
  4. FINDINGS.
  5. CONCLUSIONS AND PROSPECTS FOR FURTHER RESEARCH in this direction (scientific novelty, scientific and practical value of research results).
  6. REFERENCES (TRANSLATED AND TRANSLITERATED). All in-text citations should be listed in the reference list in Roman script. The list of used sources is made in accordance with the APA (American Psychological Association) style. To create a list of sources, you can use the automatic generator.
    • Sources are numbered and organized in the list of references in the order they are mentioned in the text, the serial number is indicated in square brackets before the bibliographic description.
    • We recommend that the list of used sources should be consisted at least 20 items.
    • After each reference the language of the source must be indicated in brackets (in Ukrainian) or (in English).
    • The list of references should be at least 60% on foreign sources.
    • The list of links inadmissible use national standards.
    • The percentage of self-citations - no more than 30%.

The authors are responsible for the accuracy of information, facts, and other knowledge, references to regulations, citations, and for the proper spelling of names and titles.

The editorial staff reserves the right to make minor edits and abbreviations, while retaining the main results and author's stylistics.

Editors can reject an article if:

  • the subject matter of the article does not match the profile of the publication;
  • the content does not match the title of the article;
  • the article is written at a low scientific level;
  • the materials were published in whole or in part earlier in other editions or submitted to the editorial boards of other magazines;
  • the article is completely or partially alien (the author made plagiarism);
  • the material has an advertising character;
  • registration of the article does not meet the above requirements;
  • there is no complete package of accompanying documents.
